Service Restored: Cloudflare Global Outage Resolved

We are writing to confirm that the connectivity interruptions experienced on ssneri.com yesterday, November 18, 2025, have been fully resolved. All systems, including the research archives, digital library, and member login portals, are back online and functioning normally.

Technical Details of the Incident

You may have encountered "Connection Timed Out" or "502 Bad Gateway" errors while trying to access the website. These errors were caused by a major global outage at Cloudflare.

Why was our site affected?

SSNERI/TRISS utilises Cloudflare as a "digital security shield" and content delivery network. It sits between our SHIPRA ERP servers and the internet to protect your research data from cyber threats and to speed up page loading times globally. Because this external shield experienced a global failure, legitimate traffic could not reach our servers temporarily.

Data Integrity Assurance

We want to emphasise that this was strictly a network pathway issue.

✅ No internal server failure occurred.

✅ No data breach or security compromise occurred.

✅ All research data and user records remain safe and intact.
