Applications are invited for various research positions (purely on a temporary/contract basis) for the ICHR-sponsored major research project entitled "हिमाचल प्रदेश का बृहद इतिहास."

Position Details

1. Research Associate

  • Posts: 01 (One)
  • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in History.
  • Desirable: Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PPT), experience in data analysis/statistical tools, and excellent communication skills.
  • Salary: ₹40,000/- p.m. (Consolidated).
  • Age: Preferably below 40 years.

2. Research Assistant

  • Posts: 01 (One)
  • Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil. in History OR Post-Graduation in History with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in computer handling and statistical tools. Experience in data collection and report writing.
  • Salary: ₹35,000/- p.m. (Consolidated).
  • Age: Preferably below 40 years.

3. Field Investigator

  • Posts: 01 (One)
  • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in History with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of local languages and the geographical area of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Salary: ₹25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated).
  • Age: Preferably below 35 years.
